“Stay true to the path, but strive midway; the summit is near – keep climbing.”
This ancient couplet from the Xuan Du Temple at Mount Heng perfectly captured the spirit of VSOL’s core team outing from November 1–3 in Hengyang.

Climbing Mount Hengshan: Conquering New Heights Together
Starting from Shenglifang and ascending to Nantianmen, the team journeyed through lush forests and mountain streams, sharing laughter and encouragement along the way.
Beyond Nantianmen, the path to the summit – Zhuruong Peak – was steeper, with swirling mist and towering cliffs surrounding them. After nearly seven hours of hiking, everyone reached the peak, taking in the breathtaking panorama of seventy-two majestic mountains.

Exploring the Grand Temple of Mount Heng: A Journey Through Time
Following the temple’s traditional Confucian-style axis, the team passed through nine grand courtyards, paying respects and making wishes along the way.
They also explored the surrounding Taoist and Buddhist halls, appreciating the harmonious coexistence of different spiritual traditions – a living embodiment of “unity in diversity”.

Visiting Shigu Academy: Immersing in Hunan’s Rich Culture
At the historic Shigu Academy – once praised by Zeng Guofan as a beacon of learning – the team walked the same grounds where scholars once lectured, wrote poetry, and shaped generations. Here, the essence of Hunan’s scholarly spirit was vividly brought to life.

Through this journey, our core team proved once again: By staying true to the path and embracing hard work, we can challenge our Personal Best (PB), unite for Team Best (TB), and together for Company Best (CB).
